David Lewis Kyle, known artistically as ABSTRAXX, is a Brand Architect and Entrepreneur whose work explores the intersection of design, technology, visual expression, and storytelling. In 2004, he began experimenting with building his own brands, developing an approach that blended imagination, design, and engineering to transform ideas into meaningful products, experiences, and businesses.
Over the years, that curiosity has taken him across disciplines—building companies, developing brands, creating products, exploring technology, writing a book, and telling stories through visual media. Each pursuit has been part of the same larger exploration: understanding how ideas take shape, how people connect with them, and how imagination can turn possibility into something real.
But the next chapter is less about what he has built and more about who he is becoming.
Mentor in the Making represents that evolution. Rather than positioning himself as someone who has everything figured out, DLK is documenting the process in real time—sharing the successes, failures, discipline, relationships, ideas, experiments, and lessons that continue to shape the person, entrepreneur, and creator he is becoming.
At the core of everything DLK creates is a belief that imagination is one of the world’s most powerful resources—a tool for thinking differently, creating boldly, and turning possibility into reality.
